Lindsey and Graeme | Webster's Ropery | 12th April 2025
This was such a magical day full of fun and laughter!
I first met Lindsey and Graeme nearly two years ago in my old studio, and I knew from that moment that this was going to be a fun day. We instantly clicked, plus the groom has a mint name! These two legends are so lovely, I'm so happy they chose me to photo their big day!
Their guests are absolute legends and ready to party from the get-go.
April has been super sunny and unusually warm, which meant we could get some stunning photos whilst guests enjoyed a drink in the sun!
That said, the weather didn't play into my plans entirely, as the clouds rolled in just before sunset.
One of my fave things about Webster's is the riverfront and the iconic Queen Alexandra Bridge, where the sun sets right behind. It is a magnificent backdrop and landmark. So I sat and watched as the clouds rolled in, and I got sadder and sadder 🥺 The sky was full of thick clouds and would not be as glorious as the morning was.
But then... blue hour landed like a mic drop! The clouds were striking, and the light was very subtle but beautiful. I hoped this might work... it did, it really did! I think i dropped a few f-bombs whilst photoing as it was that good!!! The blue hour, plus overcast clouds, were perfectly balanced with my lights.
